Customers often say "what do I do with the fat" or "no, I don't want the fat"...

But the fat from grass-fed beef makes great and healthy "tallow" that can be used in cooking and deep-fat frying. A french-fried potato fried in beef tallow is amazing. You can also make a great candle and soap. Its not that difficult and we can show you how to do all of it. . . .

Tallow is the rendered oil that comes from the fat of beef cattle. It is a semi-solid at room temperature and can be stored for extended periods on the shelf without refrigeration if kept in a sealed container. Tallow is high in saturated fats which makes it an ideal cooking fat. The smoke point is 420°F. making it very resistant to heat and ideal for deep-fat frying.
